Sonor AQ2 Drum Kit in Transparent Stain Black – AQ2 Safari Set TSB

Sonor introduce another versatile configuration from the five configurations the AQ2 Series offers and it’s called the Safari Set. The Safari configuration includes a 16″ x 15″ bass drum (with mount), 10″ x 7″ tom, 13″ x 12″ floor tom and 13″ x 6″ snare drum. All drums are constructed using an extremely popular and all purpose 7-ply maple shell construction, which is created using a blend of 4-ply Canadian maple and 3-ply Chinese maple. The inventive blend makes for a versatile sound which is brimming with rich and warm tones.

The AQ2 Series feature newly designed shell hardware and a new tom mounting system, SmartMount Technology. This minimalistic yet functional mount has the true German design and engineering spirit inside: optimal sound sustain with a minimal amount of hardware on the drum shell. SmartMount Technology is a welcome addition to this series as it avoids unnecessary drilling holes and metal to shell contact, allowing for better sustain and better visibility on the shell surface.
