After a brief vacation from writing, and at 94 years of age, Sammy Nestico is back! As a tribute to Charlie Barnet’s signature tune, here is a stunning flag-waver from the master himself. Sammy joined the Charlie Barnet band ontrombone in 1946, and he specifically chose this tune to give it a new suit of clothes.
