Description

Beethoven’s famous “Waldstein Sonata” was composed in close proximity to the “Eroica” and the first sketches for “Fidelio”. The boldness of the first movement already surpasses anything that had been ventured up to that point. Beethoven dedicated it to his friend and patron Count Waldstein.
