Commissioned by the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association, this distinctive work for developing band is highlighted by two contrasting sections. A quiet opening is flavored with percussion sounds reminiscent of Native American music, while lyric woodwinds float above, weaving expressively hypnotic melodic lines.
