The acoustic-electric GPC-X2E features a hand-rubbed satin wood top and a striking High Pressure Laminate (HPL) pattern on the back and sides (cocobolo with spruce top) for durability and appearance. Improving the looks without sacrificing the classic Martin sound. Playability improvements include a thinner fretboard with gently beveled comfort edges and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge profile for a smooth, comfortable playing experience. While the Grand Performance body size provides a projected and balanced sound with added bass, the cutaway that helps you easily reach the highest frets. The GPC-X2E features an elegant abalone-patterned rosette, carefully selected hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge, and Martin E-1 electronics with built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls to plug-in and play at any volume. All X-Series models come with a softshell case.
